How do I get a free estimate?+

Yes. Estimates are provided at no cost and no obligation. We'll assess the work and give you a straightforward estimate so you can make an informed decision.
Services
What services do you offer?+
We handle rough and finish carpentry, roofing, siding, window installation, masonry, patio and walkway installation, painting, stone walls, and stucco — the full range of residential exterior and structural work.
Do you work on both the interior and exterior of homes?+
Most of our work is exterior and structural — roofing, siding, masonry, stone, and exterior carpentry. We also do interior finish carpentry, trim, and painting where it's part of a larger project.
Process
What is your typical project process?+
We start with a conversation and estimate, confirm scope and timing, prepare the site, complete the work in a clean and organized way, and walk through the finished result with you before wrapping up.
How long does a project usually take?+
It depends on scope. Repairs may take a day or two; full roof, siding, or hardscape projects take longer. We'll give you a realistic timeline in your estimate and keep you updated as we go.

Scheduling
How far out are you booked?+
Scheduling varies with the season and current workload. Storm and emergency repairs get priority; planned projects are scheduled in order. Contact us for current availability.
Do you do emergency or storm-damage repairs?+
Yes. Roof leaks and storm damage can't always wait. Call us directly at (914) 438-1410 and we'll do our best to respond quickly, especially after severe weather.
Materials
Do I choose the materials, or do you?+
You choose; we advise. We'll recommend materials suited to your home, budget, and our climate, and source quality products or install what you've selected.
Working Together
Are you licensed and insured as a contractor?+
Putnam County Wall Systems operates as a residential general contractor. We're happy to discuss insurance and any documentation your project or town requires before we begin.
