Finish Carpentry

The trim, detail, and craftsmanship everyone sees.

Finish Carpentry Built Right

Finish carpentry is where craftsmanship becomes visible. Tight mitered corners, flush joints, and trim that sits flat against walls are the details that separate a competent build from a custom home — and they only happen with a patient, experienced hand.

We handle everything from crown and base molding to wainscoting, stair trim, and built-in casework, fitting each piece to the real (and often imperfect) conditions of your walls.

Our Process

  1. 1

    Measure & Template

Walls are rarely perfectly square. We scribe and cope joints to the actual conditions so corners close tight with no gaps.

  2. 2

    Cut & Fit

Each piece is cut and dry-fit before fastening, with back-coping for inside corners and mitering for outside corners.

  3. 3

    Install & Finish

We nail, fill, and sand so trim sits flat and seamless — ready for a final coat of paint that looks factory-finished.

Finish Carpentry — Common Questions

Can you match existing trim in an older home?

Yes. We can replicate profiles to match existing moldings so repairs and additions blend in rather than stand out.

Do you supply the molding or work with what I choose?

Both. We can source material for you or install molding and casework you've selected — primed MDF, solid wood, or specialty profiles.
